Now, I am in a business trip to Srilanka - Me and my friend Muthukumar was planning to go for a site seeing - many suggested the place Kandy a Hill Station in Srilanka. From Colombo it took four hours to reach there by bus. We had some rest in Queen's hotel and on next day we went out, first we saw the Temple of Tooth - where Buddha's sacred tooth resides - you don't believe a lot of fight happend to save the tooth. We didn't like to spend more time cas someone needs to explain much about it. Then we took an auto to reach the botanical garden, Kandy - they charged us Rs 600 as entry fee each - since we were foreigners :) went in - we can spend a whole day there, such a well designed and maintained garden, I would say - its better than Ooty botanical garden. Amazing thing was coconut tree - with HUGE SIZE COCONUTS man damn big. We roamed around the garden, took some pictures and posed to some. We were tired by 3 pm, had lunch in a small restaurant there. You got see that restaurant - thousands of flies around :) clean and tidy. Lol what to do guys, we were starving - just finished by having Breads. Came out of garden took an auto, back to hotel - checked out by 5 pm. Catched the return bus(Rs 225 per head) came back to Colombo - the hill roads are good to travel either sides are naturally so beautiful. May be, everyone should go to Kandy by self drive, we spent only a day - but i hope we should stay there for couple more days in a Villa and spent time.. cas we didn't explore much, heard there is an Elephant sanctuary - one hour drive from Kandy. I would say we can spend hardly 2-3 three days there :)Regards - Neo
